REAL PEOPLE REAL EXPERIENCES

Their Experiences. In Their Own Words.

For more than 20 years, we've had the privilege of serving thousands of people through humanitarian work and community wellness experiences—collecting hundreds of personal testimonials along the way.

These aren't actors. These aren't scripted stories. They're real people sharing what they experienced, in their own words. We listened. We learned. And with their permission, we share their voices so others can learn from them too.

PEACHES

ANTHONY

MR. ROOLZ

Living with colon cancer, Peaches wanted another option for managing her pain. In this video, hear her describe—in her own words—what happened after going 12 hours without the fentanyl patch she said she normally needed within about 15 minutes of removing it. Six weeks later we recorded her again.

Anthony had lived with painful keloids for years and also described severe pain in his right hip and leg. When we met him, he rated his daily pain a 10 out of 10 and said he had tried numerous approaches without finding relief. We asked Anthony to try something different-and tell us exactly what he experienced.

For decades, Mr. Roolz said he had recurring pain in his lower back, hip and right leg following a basketball injury. When we met him during our first Wellness Experience in the Dominican Republic, he said he was experiencing that familiar pain. He explained his experienced in his own words, in his own language (Spanish).

We Don't Just Talk. We Listen.

From Personal Experience to Community Intelligence.

Research does not only begin in a laboratory. It can begin with a question. Personal observation can generate questions. Lived experience can reveal patterns. Participatory Action Research can help determine whether those patterns appear across communities.

Pain Free Pathways invites individuals and communities to become active participants in health discovery—asking questions, sharing experiences, identifying patterns and helping decide what deserves deeper investigation.
